Have a Great Birthday - Crealis GDT Card

Hello.

This is my fourth and last card for Crealies.  (Thanks, Annelies, for giving me the opportunity to be your guest designer for this past month.)

Again, I am featuring some of Crealies products which are available from Crealies webshop HERE.  For the card shape, I have used Crealies In Shape Cutting Template No. 02 .  The centre panels were created using Crealies In Shape Cutting Template No. 01.

The flowers were created using Crealies Creative Flowers No. 19--I love this die set!--and for the leaves, I have used Crealies Creative Shapes No. 16

This adorable image which I've coloured with my markers is a Special Edition Tilda that Magnolia Sweden created for a store in the Netherlands, Hoppy Stunter.  It is not available any longer, but like other past special edition stamps I rather think that it will appear in a future Magnolia stamp collection.

You deserve a Big Hug - Crealis GDT Card

Hello.

This is my third Guest DT card for Crealies.  I've done this one in one of my favorite colour combos--I have several faves...LOL.

I am featuring some the Crealies products that are available at Annelies' Crealies webshop, HERE.  The circle panel with it's decorative border was created using Crealies Doily Element No. 7 along with Crealies Round Template. The straight borders were created using Crealies Creative Border No. 17.

The flowers were created using Crealies Creative Flowers Dies No. 06--I love this die set!--and for the leaves I used Crealies Creative Shapes Dies No. 16 .
I have a tutorial on how to make these flowers if you're interested--HERE.

I am also featuring this very adorable Magnolia image of Tilda Wants a Hug.  She is actually a holiday stamp from the Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010.  I have hidden the holly leaves in Tilda's hair with a couple of ribbon bows.
Check out Diana's on-line store Magnolia-licious for a vast collection of both the full-size and mini Magnolia stamps.  You will get excellent customer service, discounted prices and earn in-store credit with each purchase.

Challenges for this card:

Magnolia-licious September Blog Hop - 2-for-1 Holidays

Hello.

Woo-hoo...we're having a blog hop at the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog.  The theme for this blog hop is 2-for-1 Holidays.
Take a Magnolia holiday stamp and use it in 2 ways:
1) Use it for the holiday it was intended for and
2) Re-invent it in some way for another occasion or event.

If you have arrived here from Cheryl's blog then you are on the right track.  If not, then you may want to start at the beginning.  Here is a list of my DT teammates in blog hop order:

Norma (you are here)

The Magnolia image that I have decided to spotlight is this adorable Christmas Tilda With Cat from the Little Christmas Collection 2012--isn't she just adorable?  So, in keeping with the theme, my first card is of course a Christmas card.

I've made it an easel card--one of my fave types.

A closer up of Christmas Tilda With Cat.  Humph...I can never get the colours in my pictures the same as in real life--so frustrating!!!  But it's close enough I guess...LOL.

This stamp is available from Diana's on-line store Magnolia-licious. (Actually I just checked and the stamp is currently out of stock but is expected in within a few days.)  Diana has a vast collection of other adorable Magnolia stamps, along with cutting dies from Magnolia Doohickey, Memory Box, PoppyStampsMarianne Design and Cheery Lynn Designs.  You can expect services, discounted prices and in-store credits for every order.

For my second card, I've made a birthday card,

also an easel card.

I've computer-generated the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment, traced/drew the outline of the sign around the sentiment and coloured the sign.  Then I cut out the sign shape and glued it over the original 'Merry Christmas' sign.

I played a pun on the word 'perfect' for the sentiment on the bottom of my card.  Cute, eh?

Challenges for this card:
Card Makin' Mamas Challenge #54 - Be Punny (Wishing you a purr*fect day!)

Winter Wonderland - Crealies GDT Card

Hello.

I've got another card to show you that I made for Crealies.  This is my second Guest DT card and I've made a front panel side step card.

The centre panel shape was created using Crealies cutting templates In Shape No. 1.  I have actually used flower dies to make the snowflakes, Crealies Creative Flowers Dies No. 18.  Those gorgeous borders were made using Crealies Creative Border No. 17.  Crealis products are available from Annelies' webstore HERE.

I bought this Magnolia stamp after the last Christmas season was already over, so I haven't had a chance to use it until now.  This adorable image is called Winter Skates Tilda, a special stamp from Magnolia Sweden--I don't think she is part of any of their stamp collections.

The stamp is available from Diana's on-line store, Magnolia-licious.  Check out her vast collection of full-size and mini Magnolia stamps.  Diana gives excellent service, discounts and store credit for every purchase.

Here's a picture of the inside of my card.  Hmmm...the colour is a bit off here--it's not really that vivid in real life...LOL.

I've used another Tilda image here and this time it is a mini stamp.  This is Mini Winter Tilda from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection 2011.

Halloween - Sweet Stamping Pixies September Challenge

Hello.

It's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stamping Pixies.  Our theme for the September challenge is Halloween.  Here's my DT card...

The flower was an eleventh hour decision, because the area there looked so bare.  Should have put a more Halloween-themed embellishment but I didn't have anything else.  Probably should have made another spider...LOL.

This adorable image is one of Mo Manning's from Mo's Digital Pencil called Fall Fairy Jesen.  I've coloured it with markers and added glitter to the wings.

I hope you will come and play with us in our challenge.  The rules have been relaxed and now you are allowed to use fairy like images like e.g. Magnolia, hAnglar & sTanglar, TFG, etc. without wings!  You can find more details of the challenge and the prize at the Sweet Stamping Pixies challenge blog HERE.  Also have a look at the fabulous cards of my DT teammates for more inspirations.

I was honored to be asked by Annelies, owner of Crealies, if I wanted to be her guest designer and of course I said yes!  Annelies is from the Netherlands.  Her webshop Crealies has some really gorgeous templates and dies--shapes, borders, corners, flowers, leaves...  Check it out HERE.

So, I am the Guest Designer for the month of September for her Crealies Blog which you can find HERE.  This is the first of several cards that I have made--the rest will be shown later on during the month.

And this adorable image--and she is one of my favorite Magnolia images--is Rose Scent Tilda.  She is from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012.  I used markers to do the colouring.

This stamp is available from Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store HERE.  Diana has a vast collection of both the full-size and mini-size stamps.

I have made this into an easel card--one of my favorite types of cards.

Tea-Bag Dispensers - Magnolia-licious Highlites September Challenge

Hello.

It's a new month so it's a new monthly challenge at Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog.
Woo-hoo...this is my first project as a new Design Team member.   I'm sooo... excited!  I'm really going to enjoy working with the ever so talented ladies there--several were my teammates from the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.  Thanks Diana for having me here!

The theme for this month, chosen by our hostess Cabio, is Anything But A Card.
Here's my DT project for the September Challenge at the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog

I got this idea for Tea-Bag Dispensers from my sister a while back.  I googled for a tutorial and found one I liked, created by Heidi Baks HERE.

I've made 3 tea-bag dispensers.  Each box is for only one type/flavor of tea--and featuring a different Tilda, each sitting on a tea cup.  The Tea Cup image is from the Magnolia's Yummy For Your Tummy Collection 2009.
Magnolia stamps are available from Magnolia-licious on-line store.  Diana has a vast stamp collection of both the full-size and mini-size images.  She also carries cutting dies--Magnolia Doohickey, Memory Box, PoppyStamps, Marianne Design, Cheery Lynn and Joys! Craft.  The prices are discounted and for a bonus, you receive a 2% in-store credit to be applied to future purchases.  Sweet!

On the first tea-bag dispenser, I have used Tilda as a Star from Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012.

On the 2nd tea-bag dispenser, I am featuring Pie Tilda from the same collection (link is for the mini stamp--the full-size one currently out of stock).

And on the 3rd one, this is Tilda With Lovely Lace Shoes also from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012.

I have put labels for the names of the teas on the lids.

The sides of the boxes were decorated very simply.  If I arrange the boxes on the table side by side in a row, nobody will be looking at the sides anyway...LOL.  If I only have the one tea-bag dispenser only or give it out as a gift, then I would probably decorate the sides more elaborately.

Hope you will play along with us in our challenge--you have until the end of the month, so lots of time!--for a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate from Magnolia-licious.  For more details on the challenge and more inspirations from the fabulous projects of my DT teammates hop over to the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog, HERE

I am also using my project for these challenges:

I ProMarkers Challenge #132 – Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamps Challenge – Anything Goes

Sweet Stampin' - Inspired by a song or film (Tea For Two song)
